McIntyre & Company are a legal firm offering advice and representation in the High Court, Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace court dealing with general criminal defence and all types of road traffic cases.

Our firm has significant experience in criminal law and clients are supported by a dedicated team of supporting staff.

We are fully registered with the Scottish Legal Aid Board to provide legal aid services in criminal case in which the accused person is eligible for legal aid. Legal Aid Applications are assessed by the Scottish Legal Aid Board who consider the net income available to the accused person, as well as other criteria, such as the proposed defence in any particular case which is due to proceed to trial.

We are always conscious that people facing criminal charges of any nature often find the experience of attending court to be extremely stressful and traumatic. We attempt to offer a personal service in each case and attempt to reduce the level of stress to each client as much as possible.
